Gooooood morning people,
Are you as crazy as I am today? I am at a little over 40k words and so - as many writers are - I too will be participating in the 10k day for the last day of NaNo to get the last 9,000 words in that I need to hit the 50k. It’s not impossible I’ve done it before so I know it can be done, but what I’m wondering is what sort of state will I be in once it’s all over and I finally type the 9,000th word. Well, who knows, but I bet I will be slurring and missing words like I’m drunk and will feel a little nauseated as though I’m sick and will feel completely exhausted, but I’m gonna get NaNo done today, I’m determined. Might also make a point to spend some time with the boyfriend today for my breaks from writing.
So no writing done yet today, I wanted to talk to you guys first about what my plan is for the last day of NaNo. I have my coffee with me this morning, just woke up, I had a very rough night so I’m gonna need a few cups of coffee, but at least I like my coffee. And I will, sadly, not be reaching any of my other goals this month, but it’s due to the amount of work I had not been expecting for school. So I think I’m still doing great, 50k words in one month while working and going to school. I’ve been very busy.
So, how it everyone this morning? Tired? I am so I’m with you. “Dreading this 10k day if you’re needing it to finish your 50 k? Oh definitely me so don’t even worry. It turns out I didn’t have as much time this month as I thought I was going to. But it’s all fine. I did set some pretty huge goals for myself this month. I’m just going to be happy finishing the first one, the 50k for NaNo. So I will be checking back in with you guys later, I’m very excited for the end of NaNo and to push through these last few words to hit my goal.
I hope you all hit your goals for NaNo already and did not put yourselves in the position that I am currently in. It is not a very fun one, but it won’t be so bad. Can’t wait to get back to you guys in a bit. Happy writing and reading!!!
