Good evening writers,
Happy 5th day of NaNo! I know I didn’t get to posting yesterday, I was not doing so well. I had so much homework to do that when I actually had time to write I only got like 600 words in (and that was only cuz I started writing short story, so I wrote something new yesterday. I was not doing well at all and I didn’t post at all this morning because against I was stuck doing homework and taking a quiz so not writing done there either.
I will also admit that I didn’t post right after all that was done because I felt sort of spent so I took a bit of a break and spent some time relaxing and with my boyfriend instead of writing, but I think that was a good thing because when I was finally able to get writing done after the boyfriend left for work I got a lot done.
Like I think I might have been writing for a little over an hour and I was using writing sprints, but I got over 1,800 words and I was amazed. When I began my session today I reread the last paragraph I had written on the 3rd and something just clicked and everything I was struggling with seemed to melt away and the solutions seemed so clear. I could not stop writing and I’m going to get back to it, just thought I’d pop in here and give you guys a bit of an update. So it seems I may have gotten my mojo back, wish me luck. I hope it sticks around for a while.
So today has been a great writingg day for me so far, which is great considering I also got homework done today too, so very busy. But it feel good. Let me know how you guys are doing with NaNo, or maybe you’re not doing NaNo this year and you’re just continuing on editing or with your current draft.
