Writing Problems

Good Morning Beautiful People,

I have been having a difficult time lately. I am trying to finish up the 4th and the last book in my series and I feel very bored. Not with the idea, but the action has been slowing down because we are approaching a very interesting and unique event, but the characters are preparing for this event and things seem dull. I know I have to get through that part so that I as the writer know what is going on, but I will most likely have to cut all this crap out later on.

It has been very difficult to focus on it and to continue the writing process. I am excited to get to the end and work on all the books together with editing, and for the ending, it is exciting, but I am slowing down considerably and not getting much done.

I am still sitting down to write most days though, which is good, but the work I am producing is not my best, but I suppose that is okay too because it will improve when I go back and do my edits. I have been writing for years and finishing books the last couple of years and I am still pushing myself to get better and to stick to a piece even though things get really tough sometimes.

Some ideas you have will be more difficult to produce because they are more difficult to understand, even for you. But they are always worth the time and effort, even if they do not get published or read by anyone. They are important because they got you writing and kept you writing and got you to the point you are at now. Published or not. Each book you finish, short story, poem, are all significant in their own way.

Some of those only need to be written to leave room for better ideas to form and change you and your writing, but without writing them, you never would have created the best works you could.

Never stop writing and always finish the ideas you start. But keep in mind, not all of the ideas you have are worth starting or finishing because they aren’t big enough or in-depth enough. But always finish the ones you can. Here is a hint for any new people, if you can get halfway through it then you can finish it too. Happy writing!
