Good Afternoon Lovelies,
As with relationships, the immediate passionate spark that exists in the beginning slowly begins to fade over time. But if you never stop writing and keep pushing yourself to write and improve then the need to write will always be there until the next story is done and the one after that and so on. You need to develop a relationship with your writing and the process of your writing. If you do that then when the spark fades you can trust your ability to write just the way you would trust your partner when the spark dullens.
When the spark fades, you just have to keep writing, sometimes you need to develop a schedule and force yourself to write even when you think/feel there is nothing to write about. Because you have to learn to write without the muse behind you because sometimes the spark comes out again, but other times it sits at home on the couch watching TV and ignoring you.
Experienced writers find their own passion within each piece so they don’t have to rely on the initial passion that started their writing careers because it doesn’t stay forever.
Stay connected to your writing, never stop, and always believe in yourself. If you believe then the rest of us will too.
