Good morning everyone,
Did you miss me? Oh who am I kidding, of course you did I am, after all, amazing just as all you people are also amazing.
Let me just start by saying that my TBR is basically never-ending as most reader’s/writer’s TBRs are. I want to read every book the world has to offer and every book yet to be published. Sadly though, we can only read so many of them in one lifetime. So, my current must-reads include the list below, many of which are newly-purchased Indie published books because our indie authors need our support just as traditionally published ones do:
We’re Not Home Horror Anthology
Lesser Known Monsters by Rory Michaellson
Bits and Pieces by Dawn Hosmer
The Cyborg Tinkerer by Meg LaTorre
Keepers and Destines by Carl F. Brothers
Odriel’s Heirs by Hayley Reese Chow
My Cousin Rachel by Daphne Du Maurier
Shadows of OUr Sins by N. Phillips
Sorceress by Claudia Gray
Sara’s Moon by S. Bolanos
Korrigan by Rebecca F. Kenney
These Wretched Wings by Rebecca F. Kenny
The MIdnight LIbrary by Matt Haig
The Library of Lost Things by Laura Taylor Namey
Darling, There Are Wolves in The Woods by L. V. Russel
So Many Windings by Catherine Macdonald
Travelling Without Moving by Nathan Jones
Edge of Breach by Halo Scot
Time to Wake by K. Thomas
Demons Forever by Sarra Cannon
The Last Wish (The Witcher) by Andrzej Sapkowski
Doors of Gold and Rust by A. N. Willis
The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner
Yes, I realize that is a lot for just my immediate list, but this is just scratching the surface. These are the books I want to finish first and other are other books as some are just the first in a series. So I have a long, long list ahead of me. But the list of books I’ve actually started reading from this list is much lower:
Lesser Known Monsters
Edge of Breach
Time to Wake
We’re Not Home
Bits and Pieces
The Last Wish
The Lost Apothecary
Doors of Gold and Rust
That’s it and I’m only about halfway through 2 of these books. But I’ve been trying g to make more time for reading lately and I’ve been making it a point to read every night before bed. So I keep one book next to my bed and it’s the same book I read every night until I’ve finished it. But books are not the only forms I’ve been reading. My partner and I have begun reading the One Piece manga together so I’ve been spending quite a bit of time reading that as well. And I’ve just begun reading all the Garfield comics from the very beginning. So that also takes a chunk of my reading time. Plus I’m writing when I can also and that takes up the other amount of my free time.
And all of that is not even mentioning the time that I spend with you guys, making posts for you here and coming up with new post ideas for future posts. And I work a full time job on top of all that. So basically I have nearly no free time left and when I do I choose to spend it with my partner.
So that is my current and non-conclusive TBR guys. All of these titles are available through amazon and many can be found as ebooks also. If any of these sound interesting please check them out and as I mentioned some of these authors are indie-published and working really hard to put out good content for their readers. I am proud to be one of them and I have been enjoying a few indie-published books this year and they were some of the best books I’ve ever read.
My goal was to show the indie pub world some love as I plan on joining it in the future and I hope it shows me some love back. I’ll see you guys in the next one! Have a great rest of your day and week. Happy reading and writing all! Lots of love! And thank you so much for joining me here today I really appreciate it. Please don’t hesitate to leave a comment about your favourite book you’ve read in 2021 or any other year or show my your TBR list, maybe it’ll give me ideas or make me feel better about how long mine is.
