Good evening guys,
I know! I did it again. I’m late with my post, but I have a very good excuse and some good that came of it. So it’s been a very, very long week and I’ve been worried about my partner, his work also demanded a lot of him and he’s been working so hard and I’ve been trying to be there for him as best I can. Things have been a lot lately and it feels as though the entire world is expecting just a bit much, but it’s okay. I’m not going to dwell on that, not now. So things have been busy and I needed a bit of extra rest. And good thing I opted for the rest too.
Today was a busy day and I got so much done. Today is my biggest word count day in 2022 so far. My biggest writing day and my biggest word count day. It felt amazing to feel like I was finally getting some work done. I blew past 3K words today. I got totally immersed in the old project I was working on. I’m getting so close to finishing it which feels amazing considering I had fallen out of love with it. It had gotten so difficult to write that I disliked writing it, but I found my passion for it again and my interest for the story. I came up with some new ideas.
I got a lot done and it felt great. The best I’ve felt with regard to writing in a while. I guess my renewed passion came from the support group I joined, Writers For Ukraine and what they are doing to support that community and to fight back against injustice in our world. I guess it reawakened a spark inside me, one that has been sleeping for the last few weeks due to exhaustion and stress. But I think it was time.
It was about time, though it’s sad it was due to such terrible world circumstances. Thank you for tuning in and for being here with me through this. The burnout broke for a while and it was enough to keep me going. Maybe this Ukraine fundraiser will help me against tomorrow.
Anyway, I’m exhausted, but happy. So I will end this here. I’m glad you stopped by to spend some time with me here. Thank you so much for all your support. I hope you have joined the fight like the rest of us. Let peace be brought to light, let war die alone where it belongs. Let’s make change, let’s do better.
Have a good rest of your night, guys and have a good rest of your week. Lots of love! Happy reading and writing and please show your support for Ukraine. Until next time guys, bye.
