Well good morning all,
You do have lovely faces whether they are made up or not on this fine morning. You have creativity shining in your eyes and it’s a sight to see, let me tell you. Now, this is just a pop on today. I do have a larger, actually series of posts coming out starting Friday, but they are taking longer to create than I was hoping. But I think they’ll be good. I’m just working on my tone. I don’t want to come off like I know everything because obviously I don’t and I am only really giving my opinions on all things writerly. So I’m working on that.
I did, however, want to pop on and make sure that I mention my progress. So I have kind of gotten into a groove with streaming. And I have a day laid out where I can do it also. I did clean up the desktop a bit which is nice. It looks more organized, not so rough or distracting. It’s nice and writerly related. So and my partner has recently realized that he doesn’t enjoy streaming so we won’t be doing any gaming streams, at least not together and I haven’t gotten into the groove of gaming streams yet nor have I had much desire for gaming recently. I’ve been enjoying my writerly work and reading time too much to give any of it up.
Now, I have been editing, I haven’t stopped. I even set up a new system to help me move from scene to scene without getting lost or forgetting where one scene ends and another begins. I figured that whole mess out and I finished another chapter today. Though it’s not just editing anymore. I did find that again, I need to add in more new scenes, so I have been doing some drafting as well which only means that more editing will need to come with those scenes later. though the nice thing about adding in scenes later in the drafting phases, is that they actually fit into the story nicer than some of the original scenes do and I don’t have to rework them as much because I knew more about the story and the ending when I wrote them.
So I have been hard at work lately, but it feels good. And I don’t want to stop. Also finished watching Anna Delvy on Netflix recently. I did enjoy the journalism story behind it and I am getting close to finishing a couple of books which I am very excited about considering there are so many on my June TBR. But I’m getting there. I’ve also recently gotten back into manga and so I’m reading Once Piece. It’s the manga my partner and I are following together. We were watching the anime, but when he introduced me to the manga, I really wanted to read it. I have a goal of reading 7 chapters per week so I can catch up to him as he’s read all of it and he wants to share spoilers with me so badly but I’m not that far along in the manga yet.
Things are going well and I’m making a lot of progress in a lot of areas of my life. I’m on a bit of a high right now. Things are going well. The bunnies are even beginning to settle into this new place which is encouraging. They’re enjoying it as much as we are.
