Good Morning Good People,
Okay, so yesterday morning I finally got inspiration for the last book in the series I have been writing. So I get up and I begin, but I had some issue with some technical stuff so I went looking through my past notes on the series to look for the solution to my problem and I found a paper that said “Death” on it. That had me remembering an idea I had written down a long time ago and I became obsessed.
I needed to find it, I could not continue writing anything until I had found it and it struck even more inspiration in me. I searched the whole house for it and could not find it (or so I thought). There was one more place it could be and so I checked there, not really believing I was ever going to find it. So, I was flipping through a bunch of old ideas in the bottom of a drawer next to my desk. I was about ready to give up the search altogether when suddenly it was in my hand.
I could not believe it, I had found it. I pulled the page out from its hiding place and quickly began jotting down notes on what the new idea was going to be about. Thinking back to this moment now, I realize how important it was for me because I was in a very bad writing rut and I feel a tiny bit ashamed that I was about ready to give up writing completely for a while until I found that idea.
It struck something in me and I got the courage and the inspiration to write again. It got me to finish writing chapter 1 of the last book in the series. I may not be up to 100% just yet, but I am getting there and I am thanking that idea that struck me and that I am now beginning to obsess over. It is going to be the next idea I write about for sure.
