Hello lovelies!

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in my writing and reading life. Hope you enjoy your stay!

The Marathon Of The Middle

Good Afternoon All,

I recently watched a YouTube video by Jerry B. Jenkins about how to write a book. He is a bestselling author, has written over a 190 books, and “still get[s] stuck in the middle mark of a book every time.”

I think this is a very common thing for nearly every author, writer, blogger at times at least, if not every time. It happens to me, it happens when your book becomes slightly boring to you because your idea is slowing down before it gets to the climax of the end or the climax just before the end.

All writers struggle, it is just a given. If you are hoping that writing is going to be easier than another career path then I promise you it’s not. If you are going to compare writing to any other career, or most careers, it is going to be more difficult.

In life, in every career, there is rejection, but writers face more rejection, criticism, and are ridiculed more than almost anyone else in any career. They are strong and very capable, they grow tougher skin than anyone else because they need it to keep the harsh comments and rejection bouncing off and not affecting them.

Writers write and keep writing because they love it, if they didn’t love it as much as they do then they would not have made it as far as they have. Everyone has trouble in the middle part, just push through as best you can and never give up because writing for you is always worth it.
