Good afternoon all you lovely, gorgeous people,
Are you ready for NaNo? I am super excited and we are only a few short days away. I have been keeping busy with prepping and planning and a bit of outlining some major plot points so give me a head start and keep me from slowing down. I am trying to write 50K words in one month’s time, but that is not my only goal. Though I will talk more about my goals in a later post my main goal is to get as far into my manuscripts (yes, plural that was not a typo) as I am taking on 2 manuscripts this NaNo season.
I have a lot planned for the month of November and I hope you will all be here to join me in the challenges I am undergoing this upcoming month. It should be a lot of fun. There will be struggles I am sure, but there will also be fantastic days where I get more done than I thought or expected I would.
Originally I had started prepping for Preptober because November is going to be busy as I have a part-time job and I am tackling school this year too. Though thankfully I’ve already finished my midterms so November shouldn’t be as busy with schoolwork.
This is not the first time I have tackled this challenge of writing 50K words in one month. I actually completed this goal during July’s NaNo. So I’m hoping this time will be just as easy as last time especially as I am continuing the idea that I used for July, I wrote the first book of the series and now I’m taking it a step further and writing both BK 2 and BK 2B for this NaNo. So I have a lot on my plate and tons of goals that I hope I can meet this month.
I’m writing about a knight and his struggle with an initial decision that will either save or break the world around him, his kingdom and his friends. What choice will he make and will it be the wrong one no matter what he chooses? It’s called Project Knight as I did have a title, but now I’m thinking the title won’t quite fit so I’m down to no real title, only a project title.
Are any of you participating in NaNo this November? Tell me about your project, the ideas you’re thinking about trying or any worries you have about NaNo 2020, or the pandemic we’re currently in. Or maybe you have a title for your idea, but no outline or springing off ideas which happens to me sometimes. I’d love to hear from you.
Have a great day, stay safe, and happy writing!
