Good morning all,
And yes, I am trying to get back into my regularly scheduled posting. Which is such a relief to me. It’s felt so alien not keeping up with it, even though it was for some very good reasons. My lack of writing also feels really weird, but I’ve been doing a lot of reading this past week and last night I decided to relax a little with my partner. He played his game and I binged 4 episodes of Bridgerton. I am loving the new season. But I thought a lot about writing and I have new ideas to keep me busy once I get back.
But I think for starters, given my minimal free time lately, that I will try to get back into the flow of posting and adding in my other social medias to the list. I was regularly posting some of my shorter works on my author page, but I also ceased that with lack of internet as I do all of my posting on my laptop to make typing it all out much easier.
It feel so good to be back. I don’t think I’ll get back to writing this week, but probably next week when I have a bit more time. But I’m also hoping to finish reading another book by that time. Wish me luck! I have so many to read. And since I left you last I have finished my beta reading project and I have completed a review read I had started, among two other novels. So I’d say not bad considering my minimal spare time. So lack of internet hasn’t been such a terrible thing. It’s meant more reading time for me.
So yesterday we started setting up the office. We’re putting in some soundproofing as the space is very echoy and the sound bounces around a lot. We’re not quite finished yet, but one more day should clear that right up. Then Wednesday next week will be a mainly packing day to finish up the rest of the packing and Thursday will be a big moving day. We’ll try to move everything over to the new place. I’m excited, but also not looking forward to all the heavy-lifting it will take.
I know, I know, another short post and not about much writing. I will get back to that, I promise. Cross my heart and will live without coffee if I do not. ;) I’m easing myself in and maybe the lack of writing talk is a good thing for now. I’m just glad to be here. Thanks so much for being here.
