I thought I’d do a fun one here today since it is my birthday. I’ll tell you a bit about myself, more detail-oriented than the About Me page here.

when a story feels so real it plays like a movie in my head
Pet Peeves:
when people call it nove-ella, it’s wrong because you’re pronouncing the e twice and there aren’t 2 es there’s only 1 it’s nov-ella
when people walk slowly in front of me or cut me off and go slow
when people call it a libary not a library
when people claim audiobooks isn’t real reading. Then tell me how I can recite to you my favourite lines from my favourite audiobooks - books I have only read in audio format
when people shut down or shut out other writers because they’re “in competition” with them. No, we can all thrive, together. We can help each other thrive
Dreams:
to be a writer
to be a published author
to be an indie author
to be a photographer
to be a teacher
to have my paintings hang on a gallery wall
to make a living being a writer
to be able to write all the books I have ideas for before I die
to be able to finish my TBR pile
to finish every book on my bookshelf
to be inspiring
to be looked up to
to help people
to enjoy my life as much as I can
Regrets:
not making up with my cousin
not starting writing sooner
not working harder for the things I want
not appreciating people more
wasting energy on people who didn’t deserve it
not believing in myself more
not loving myself like I should have, like I deserve
All these things are true and so much more. But that’s all I have for you today. This post is about me because it’s my birthday. And now you know me a little better. My life isn’t perfect. It never will be. But it’s perfect enough. And no one can be the perfect person. But we can always strive to be better.
